A Jewish officer's dog tag from WWII. Excellent condition. Lt. Col. Philip Sureck was a practicing attorney when he entered the service. He was posted as an counter-intelligence (G2) officer in Sicily in advance of the 1st Infantry Division invasion. Later became Army trial Judge Advocate. He redeployed with the "Big Red One" for the D-Day landing in Northern France. Copies of wartime news articles and obituary will be provided.
