Fresh from a local veteran's estate. THIS IS THE REAL DEAL, NOT A REPRODUCTION OR REPLICA!! An incredible US Air Force dark blue Type B-15C flight jacket. Excellent condition. Size 38. (see measurements below). Circa 1951. Label reads "Jacket, Flying, Intermediate / Type B-15C / Specification No. MIL-J-6251 / Drawing No. 5183565 / Size 38 / Order No. AF33 (038)-22518 / Stock No. S/N 8310-484000-291 / A. Pritzker & Sons, Inc./ Dry Clean Only / U.S. Property". Extremely light US Air Force stencil below label. Crown main zipper, Conmar sleeve zipper, mouton fur collar, knit cuffs and waistband. Zippers and snaps work properly. Two worn spots on the fur collar edges. A few small holes in waistband and cuffs. Some soiling to front from normal use.Veteran served 40 years of active service including National Guard and Air Force Reserves. Retired in 1981 with rank of Major General. He also served with the Oklahoma Civil Air Patrol. Buyer will receive complete identification information.SPE
