HO Brass Alco Models Various Roads ALCO C628 Century Series High Hood Diesel

1968 run ALCO Models imported model built by Kumata in Japan. Box shows minimal shelf wear. Original foam replaced by bubblewrap. A good runner if a bit loud (typical for early Alco models). These high hood 628's were bought by N&W who used them as heavy switchers at Lamberts Point switching coal hoppers. Later the C&NW bought them second hand to be used in ore service in the 1970's.
