Wood Panel Ivory Mid Century Modern 1962 Lloyds Model TM-838 Vacuum Tube AM/FM Radio Excellent Condition and Great Sounding! Rare Model! DESCRIPTION: Tabletop vacuum tube AM, FM and shortwave radio manufactured by Lloyds in 1962 time frame in excellent working and physical condition. SOUND QUALITY: Picks up AM and FM stations clearly and loudly around the dial without need of external antenna attachment. Tone adjustment works. Shortwave only works at high end frequency range. Does not seem to work in lower shortwave frequency range. Dual speaker design sounds great! CABINET CONDITION: Cabinet is original factory ivory front plastic with faux wood grain simulated on top and siudes. No cracks, chips or major scratches or missing pieces. The front tuning clear cover is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips, scratches or broken attachment tabs no micro inclusions. All original chrome speaker grill trim pieces are in excellent condition with no rub off, rust pits no oxidation trails
