These are machine-sewn, never glued, with heavy-duty polyester thread. Ribbon ends are heat-sealed to prevent fraying. The grosgrain ribbon that we use is made of premium quality, tightly-woven polypropylene or polyester fibers, and it is considered a very strong and durable ribbon material. Unlike the common vinyl plastic streamers or tinsel pom-pom streamers, these ribbon streamers will not crack, break, yellow, or shed.  Stainless steel, spring-tight metal clips fit securely into the end holes of just about any handlebar grip.
