Region: Aricha station, Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia Varietal: Ethiopia landraces  Altitude: 1900-2100m Processing: Washed and sun-dried on raised beds Roast: Light Notes: Soft body, bright acidity, blueberry, dried mango Formerly known as the Misty Valley Station (and sometimes called Idido), the Aricha station lies in the Yirgacheffe highlands of southern Ethiopia. Aricha processes coffee provided by about 700 small holder farmers in the area. The coffees are picked ripe, de-pulped within 12 hours, washed clean, and sun-dried on raised beds. Ethiopia is home to more species of coffee plants than any place on Earth, and it still grows wild. The high elevation (around 1925m) and red-brown clay soils are superb conditions for these highly sought after coffees.
