SOPACDI is a coffee growers cooperative representing over 5,300 farmers along the Congolese side of central Africa's Lake Kivu. This growing region, also home to the critically endangered mountain gorilla, is one of a kind, with rich volcanic soil dense in minerals. Where some other prized African coffees are known for consistent flavor profiles, coffees from this region may be better known for their varying notes of terroir.
