Ravines 2019 Cabernet Franc

A full-bodied style of Cab Franc with soft, fresh texture and good structure. Think red berries, herbs and spice. Tech Variety: 100% Cabernet Franc Vineyard: White Springs Vineyard, 16 Falls Vineyard Location: Finger Lakes, NY Alcohol: 12.5% Tasting Notes Incredibly fresh and inviting with aromas of redcurrant, cranberries and mountain herbs. Deep ruby red color, full-bodied style with very soft texture but good structure. The palate is pure and elegant, with notes of raspberries and hints of earth and spice. Winemaking Aged for one year in 6-year-old 2000 liter Austrian and Hungarian Oak casks. Vineyard White Springs Vineyard is composed of Honeoye loam soils on an Eastern exposure, while 16 Fall Vineyard is composed of clay/loam over shale stone soils on a Western exposure.
