After serving two years in jail for shooting her cheating husband Sonny Drego (D. David Morin) in his behind, parolee Connie Drego (Stephanie Hodge) returns home to her family's Oasis roadside inn and to more than a few surprises, such as discovering that her 18-year-old daughter, Madeline (Jennifer Anniston), has married Duane Cooper (Scott Waara), the naive state trooper who arrested her. Desperately trying to pick up the pieces of her life, Connie knows that is not going to be easy.
