THE ANDY WILLIAMS 1968 CHRISTMAS SHOW (NBC 12/19/68)
This annual Christmas special is hosted by singer Andy Williams and features his friends, family and other musical guests. The program begins as Williams sings "A Gift of Song" and decorates a tree with personalized ornaments. He then sings "In This White World" as he skis down a mountain, crashing in front of his family home. They take him inside, and he sings a bit of "I'll Be Home For Christmas" before segueing into a harmony of "If Love Comes With It" with his brothers as they share a hot drink. The family then gathers in the kitchen to make "Christmas Eve Supper all together, after which Williams takes a wintry stroll with his wife Claudine Longet, and they sing " For Baby (For Bobbie)" together. They come upon their sons Christian and Bobby making "ice cream snow," using food coloring, and Longet helps them as she sings "Colours."
