Ivy

A beautiful draping plant that is very hard to upset. Ivies, part of the Hedera genus, are popular trailing plants typically grown outside, although there are dozens of cultivars used as indoor plants. While ivies are widely recognizable on sight, there is a wide amount of variation in the size, shape, and coloring of leaves. Almost all prefer very strong indirect light and moderate watering when almost dry. They can be vigorous growers and climbers, and should also be regularly examined for spider mites, which they are prone to.
