Climate - Native to tropical regions of South America, the Caribbean, and the south Pacific, and southern Asia Soil - Well-draining potting soil mixed with peat moss and shredded bark, likes being repotted after it becomes pot-bound Humidity - Likes increased humidity, use pebble tray or light misting Temperature - Typical indoor temperature acceptable, prefers temperatures above 60 degrees  Fertilizer - Very sensitive to chemical fertilizers, so only with organic fertilizer in the spring and summer
