LIFESAVER Jerrycan Graphene: Ultra Filter Cartridge

The Graphene: Ultra Cartridge is an upgrade for LifeSaver’s Jerrycan range, adding state‑of‑the‑art chemical adsorption to the brand’s well‑proven hollow‑fibre ultrafiltration membranes. It is the same size and shape as a standard Jerrycan cartridge, so it can retrofit existing models or be supplied installed in a new Jerrycan. A conventional ultrafiltration membrane physically blocks viruses, bacteria and protozoa, but the addition of a graphene composite element provides three new chemical adsorption mechanisms—conjugated molecule stacking, electrostatic interactions/surface complexation and hydrophobic interactions. This means the filter removes 99.9999 % of bacteria and 99.99 % of viruses, parasites and microplastics for up to 20 000 litres, while also reducing PFAS/PFOA “forever chemicals,” antibiotics and heavy metals to safe levels for between 700 and 1 200 litres, depending on the contaminant. In independent tests it meets or exceeds NSF/ANSI P231, NSF/ANSI 42 and NSF/ANSI/CAN
