First I made a beautiful, rustic, hand hammered heart out of heavy copper jewelry wire. Then I created a delicate silver-filled tree attached to the heart base. The foliage is dark purple-red genuine garnet beads. There is a wonderful play of colors and textures. The silver is highly polished and the copper has a contrasting dark patina that brings out the detail in the hammering. This piece has a smooth feel and a really nice weight. It is a very unusual heart pendant. Pendant measures approximately 2.75" (6.5cm) x 2" (4.5cm) The pendant is sealed to protect the finish.
