In the 1990's I traveled to Mexico and had a chance to bring home this lovely remembrance of friends and family now gone. The original skeleton doll is about 10" high with a quite cheerful grin! ​ "The Day of the Dead is a Mexican holiday celebrated in Mexico and elsewhere associated with the Catholic celebrations of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day and is held on November 1 and 2.
