Full sun or shade; low water. A rambling shrub from South Africa that will grow to 12-16 feet with support or can be pruned into an upright shrub to the desired height and width. The shiny leaves are divided into 5-7 toothed and pointed leaflets, similar to a rose leaf. Orange-red long tubular flowers bloom in clusters during the fall and winter. Cold hardy to 25° F. Tolerate seaside conditions. It is resistant to deer predation. Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies.
