FLAVOR NOTES: This is a specialty Japanese style green tea that is blended with fire -roasted rice. It is not uncommon for the rice to “pop” not unlike popcorn, hence the nickname for the tea is commonly “popcorn tea”. The roasted rice kernels contribute to its nutty and aromatic fragrance, and complements the astringency of green tea. There is a natural sweetness to this tea that makes it delicious and comforting to drink any time of the day!
