14k Oval Cabochon Lavender Star Sapphire and Diamond Halo Ring by Paul Richter (14.78ct.)

The 14k white gold star sapphire and diamond ring is an original design and hand fabrication by goldsmith Paul Richter.   The ring is a prong and bezel set halo style that features one oval cabochon cut star sapphire surrounded by sixteen round brilliant cut diamonds.   The star sapphire is a lavender plum hue with medium color saturation, light tone and a carat weight of 14.78ct.  The star of the sapphire is well defined and very slightly off center. The sixteen surrounding diamonds are F color, VS2 clarity and have a carat total weight of  2.0ctw. The ring is bezel set with six plum and pink sapphires on the undercarriage. The plum and pink sapphires have a carat total weight of 1.06ctw. Eighteen round brilliant cut diamond melee also accent the ring. The diamond melee have a carat total weight of 0.34ctw.   The ring is a size 7.5.
