Made of Tobe porcelain, the Hari-awase Rice Bowl is hand-painted with traditional Japanese design motifs and variable stripes in the Sugiura Koubow Studio in Ehime. Featuring a sculpted base, this tea cup blends modern and time-honored styles, perfect for a serving of fresh rice or a side of soup. Hari-awase, meaning to join together, is reflective of Aya Sugiura’s whimsical style of tobeyaki.
