The STALKER series bumping rod designed to feel every nook and cranny, every bottom change and every potential snag as you walk your bait through Big Whisker territory - and we offer to you without breaking the bank!   The Stalker is an IM7 Carbon blank, which is a perfect and proven compromise between sensitivity and durability. After decades of combined bumping by our staff, we understand the need for a sensitive and durable blank with a fast action. The rod is 7'3" long, wrapped in 9 SS guides plus the tip top, and fast action is specifically tuned for the needs of bumping. To add even more strength, the Stalker comes in a Rippin Lips exclusive carbon fiber weave overlay along the lower backbone. This adds backbone strength without adding excessive weight.   The reel seat has been positioned with care so that the rod is well-balanced using a variety of common sized reels. A balanced bumping rod reduces fatigue and is comfortable all day long - a critical feature as we all know!
