Upgraded Inner Guide Plate - Stihl MS462/MS500i

 MS462/MS500i Inner Guide Upgrade Plate This plate is also the direct replacement for many saws, see below. The original plate on the MS462 and MS500i is much thinner than this replacement. The stock plate on the 462 and 500I is .045" while the replacement plate is double the thickness, .090".  The original can be more susceptible to bending and catching the chain during use, especially if the chain is improperly adjusted. While this is an upgrade for the 462 and 500i, it is the standard replacement plate for the 066, MS440, MS441, MS460, MS461, MS650, MS660, and MS661. Stihl Original Part Number 1128 664 1001
