The course is extensive, with most participants having dedicated around 18 months by the time they're let go.  Sometimes, the reasons for being dropped are straightforward - serious errors involved.  Other times, even outstanding individuals are cut due to an off day, despite excelling on nine out of ten other days. The fact remained, they didn't meet the standard, so they had to go.  Allowing otherwise would compromise the next generation and weaken our team.  Staying tough, committed to the mission, and keeping emotions in check is the core of what we do.  So the decision is clear. What started as an exclamatory remark during tough cuts evolved into a guiding principle: "God Bless The Standard."  Close doesn't count, almost isn't enough, and barely still falls short. It began with a medical course, giving us the scalpel.  The ability to make precise, decisive cuts appl
