Whidbey Douglas Fir lotion bar
These lotion bars are made with windfall Douglas fir branches that we gather after winter windstorms on Whidbey Island. And occasionally, from a branch that was trimmed for tree health or family health here. We clean up and cut up the branches then infuse them in organic olive oil for 6 to 12 weeks, as needed, until the sweetness and scent of the fir permeate the oil. Directions: Hold the bar between your palms to warm it, and then rub into dry hands, arms, legs, and feet, just like regular body lotion. Ingredients: Windfall Douglas Fir branches (typically gathered from beneath trees at Ritual Mischief and walks in neighboring woods after winter storms) infused into organic extra virgin olive oil for 6 to 12 weeks, shea butter, local beeswax, organic coconut oil, and 2 to 3 drops of fir essential oil and Douglas fir essential oil, the most delightful fir essential oil anywhere IMO, ethically made by our neighbors at Whidbey Herbal. Packaging: This bar comes in a silver, reusable, food
