Whidbey Douglas Fir body oil
We created this to sooth our spinning minds--the scent, tree presence, and self-massage into hands, temples, and shoulders combine to relax us. This oil can be used as a body oil and can also be used as a beard oil. It's a gift from central and south Whidbey forests for times when we don't have the time, access, or ability to walk in the woods to relax and rest. We gather branches after winter windstorms drop them to the ground, and then cut up the branches and infuse them into organic extra virgin olive oil for 8 to 12 weeks, until the oil smells like our daily walks in the woods and feels like a soothing hug from a wise tree being when you rub it in. Here we use it to soften dry skin, to feel grounded, to relax and accept difficult news and painful history (the scent calms our minds and eases our tension and stress).
