Celestial Sphere Gelée Eye Gloss: Monoceros

The Color: Rich garnet aflame with ancient gold. Opulent, romantic, decadent. The Creation: This shade is opulence embodied, a spill of red wine infused with the radiance of warm, glimmering starlight. This is a deeply romantic, decadent and undone shade for catching flickers of candlelight in catacombs. For us, its drama evokes crushed pomegranate seeds, hand-embroidered velvet, and the night sky filtered through stained glass. Monoceros is named for the unicorn constellation, located near the celestial equator. We drew our inspiration from early Renaissance tapestries, ancient bestiaries, and the alchemical fascination with the purifying properties of unicorn horns.
