Romanian Red Garlic Bulbs

This is the garlic-lover's garlic.  Powerful and hot, Romanian red can be distinguished from other garlics by its strong garlic smell.  Quite hot when eaten raw, it takes on a nutty taste (still hot) when cooked.  Cloves are large so good for cooking whole or chopped to flavor any dish.   Type: Hardneck Avg. Cloves per Bulb: 4 to 6 large cloves Heat and Taste: Raw, this garlic is pungent and very hot with lingering aftertaste. When cooked, the taste takes on a nutty flavor.
