They are available in 1⁄2" size, with threaded connections, and a temperature range of 100°F to 130°F (38°C to 54°C). The hydraulically-operated thermostat opens a spring loaded check in thecold water inlet allowing cold water to mix with the hot water. Valve bodies are of Lead Free* brass construction that is recognized and required to resist corrosive domestic hot water conditions.  The mixing valve features Lead Free* construction to comply with Lead Free* installation requirements.
