Snap caps are made from aluminum and anodized in red. The primer pocket is filled with silicon. Available in following calibers 223 Rem 7.62x39mm 300 Blackout 9mm .40 S&W .45 ACP 30-06 12 Gauge Snap caps contain no primer, propellant or projectile. The non-functioning, inert primer provides a soft landing for the firing pin or striker.
