Filigree Link Necklace

The perfect unique everyday necklace to elevate any outfit! Each link is intricately handmade filigree work. Filigree is an old world jewelry technique, made by twisting very tightly two pieces of very small silver wire and then flattened. Then plated in 14k gold. Each link is handmade then attached by hand to make this unique chain necklace. *Dating back to 3000 BC, the earliest archaeological filigree pieces were found in Mardin, Mesopotamia. The technique travelled to other parts of the ancient world and was widely used, and very highly praised, for its beautiful details.
