Superworms
During cold months all live insects will be held at post office. Superworms (the larvae of Zophobas morio, a species of darkling beetle) are popular feeder insects for various reptiles, amphibians, birds, and some fish. Feeding Considerations: Gut Loading: To enhance their nutritional value, superworms should be gut-loaded with nutrient-rich foods like vegetables, fruits, or commercial gut-load formulas before feeding to your pets. Calcium Supplementation: Dusting with calcium powder before feeding is recommended, especially for creatures like reptiles that require calcium for bone health. Feeding Frequency: Depending on the pet's dietary needs, superworms should be given in moderation due to their high fat content. Overfeeding can lead to obesity in some animals.
