Done in 1968, Cenedella uses the old 'Ma Bell' company logo to express his anger at the lack of working pay phone booth's in New York City. To get them to do something about the problem, he had printed up yellow labels in black type that said "Out of Order" and posted them on broken phones across the city so no one would waste a quarter to make a call. To the phone company, he became Public Enemy No. 1.
