Linen is one of the oldest clothing fabrics used by man and has been a staple of traditional Alpine fashion. The Nora linen jacket featured here is a traditional Austrian style. It is produced for Robert W. Stolz by Steinbock of Austria, a well-known international name in refined Alpine fashion.  The 100% linen fabric used in the Nora was woven in the Italian textile town of Prato, where producing the worlds finest fabrics has been a passion for centuries. Our particular linen fabric comes from the distinguished Nuovo Ri Vera mill.  Owing to a unique finishing process, our fine linen is not prone to wrinkling, but is both very soft and durable.
