Commissioned by tea expert Ip Wing Chi for the 20th anniversary of his iconic Lock Cha tea house in Hong Kong, this Sheng (raw) type of Pu Er tea, is a special blend, pressed into the cakes in May of 2012. The flavor is immediately delicately sweet with follow-up notes of dried hay and earthy oak leaves. The aroma hints of the canvas from a well-loved tent but not overtly smokey. The astringency is light and brings a pleasant clarity. Brewing: 1 tbsp, 190 deg, 1 min, 6 inf.
