In the early 1900’s Marie Webster was a quilt designer who created beautiful applique quilts with floral motifs. One of the great aspects of her designs, was the secondary patterns that were created by putting blocks together. Inspired by her work, I decided to take one of my favorite flowers – a simple tulip - and create a quilt reflecting the same elements.  I hope Marie Webster would approve. The pattern gives full-color instructions on how to create the tulip blocks using a traditional applique method, and how to assemble the quilt. No printed copy of this pattern is available, and can only be purchased as a digital download.
