This product was officially introduced to the market on the 19th of October, 2020, and is available in 32 different variants. The CM4 and its counterpart, the Compute Module 4 Lite (CM4Lite), are loosely based on the Raspberry Pi 4 Model B. The CM4 offers an option for cost-sensitive applications to be supplied without the eMMC fitted, a version known as the CM4Lite. The form factor of the CM4 and CM4L differs from previous Compute modules due to the addition of new interfaces such as a second HDMI, PCIe,
