It features advanced protection mechanisms including undervoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature safeguards, ensuring reliable performance under demanding conditions. The integrated battery eliminator circuit (BEC) provides a 5V output to power the receiver, eliminating the need for an additional receiver battery. This motor controller is equipped with a calibration function that facilitates precision driving, complemented by status LEDs that indicate both directional and calibration statuses. It is particularly well-suited for use with FingerTech's Gold Spark and Silver Spark motors, among others, and can handle motors with up to 5A stall current, making it ideal for short-duration robotic operations. The TinyESC V2 is available with MiniQD connectors pre-installed, simplifying the connection process by eliminating the need for soldering. It also includes a 0.01uF capacitor to mitigate motor noise and voltage spikes, although this is not necessary for FingerTech Spark motors due to their high efficiency. Note: Multiple motors on a single TinyESC cannot be independently controlled, necessitating one ESC per side for standard drive configurations.
