Description SparkFun Micro Triple Axis Accelerometer Breakout - BMA400 (Qwiic) Ultra-low power consumption for wearables and smart home applications Exceptional false signal prevention to avoid false alarms Seamless integration with I2C systems via Qwiic system Selectable acceleration ranges of ±2/±4/±8/±16g Comprehensive on-chip interrupt features for versatile use The SparkFun Micro Triple Axis Accelerometer Breakout - BMA400 (Qwiic) offers a 3-axis acceleration sensor designed for ultra-low-power applications on a user-friendly Micro Qwiic format breakout board. As the first genuine ultra-low power acceleration sensor, the BMA400 is ideal for wearable and smart home applications. This sensor excels in distinguishing between critical situations and false signals, preventing false alarms. The Qwiic system enables seamless integration into I2C systems without soldering. Although the Micro size does not accommodate a traditional 0.1-spaced PTH header, the board routes an interrupt and ground pin to a through-hole connection. Bosch Sensortechs BMA400 features a full-scale acceleration range of ±2/±4/±8/±16g and exceptionally low current consumption of < 14.5µA at its highest performance settings. Additionally, the sensor includes a comprehensive set of on-chip interrupts such as auto wakeup/low power, step counter, activity recognition, orientation detection, and tap/double tap.
