Jeannette
We named this ring after the first woman elected to Congress in 1916, Jeannette Rankin. Most notable, she spoke and lobbied for women's suffrage. Ultimately serving two terms in the House, Rankin was the only member of Congress to vote against the U.S. participation in both World Wars. She also served as an officer for the Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom and campaigned for maternal and child health care and to the regulation of hours and wages of women workers. We love Jeanette because she broke barriers before women could even vote and had to name a piece after her. This ring is simple, but makes a big statement. A single Amethyst raw stone ring gently wraps around your finger and is comfortable to wear all day long! Stone is 1/4 around and will vary in shape and color. ***We do make Custom Sizes!!
