Schneider Modicon 140 DDI 84100 Input Module

The Schneider Modicon 140 DDI 84100 Input Module is a digitally synchronous input module for use the 130/140-84xx Control Units. This module provides 24 inputs and uses binary coded decimal encoding to provide lower cost solutions that can be translated back into ASCII numbers as well. It has noise immunity when malfunctioning signals are detected on four channels, "zero crossing" circuits, an auto sense current with autotransformer to guarantee loop disconnection in case of overloads and errors, "dry contact" relay contacts that have high isolation against electric attacks or electromagnetic interferences. The control unit's diagnostic functions permit checking every link between the power supply and the device controlled by the digital I/O function mounted inside it without opening its cover.
