Triceratops Bone Fossil on Metal Stand

This Triceratops Bone Fossil fragment was collected from the Cretaceous-aged Hell Creek Formation in South Dakota, estimated to be approximately 70 million years old. It has been identified as triceratops bone due to other larger and more recognizable fossil bone specimens found in proximity to this piece. Fortunately, this piece was collected before natural proicesses completely eroded the piece to nothing!
