Scagel Style Hunters Set

This Scagel style hunter has a 4.5" long, razor sharp convex ground blade, hand forged from high carbon 1095 is about .140" thick. The brass guard is silver soldered above a stack of black, thick maroon, hand cut horsehide, aluminum and brass spacers. The vintage mule deer crotch stag pommel is pinned through the tang with a brass pin. OAL is about 9.5" Comes in a dark brown belt sheath. This Scagel style hunter hatchet has a 2.5" long cutting face with razor sharp convex grind, hand forged to final shape from high carbon 1095 is about .250" thick. The vintage mule deer crown stag pommel is pinned through the tang with a brass pin. OAL is about 11.5" Comes in a dark brown belt sheath. The antler on this set is a true set Crotch and Crown from the same shed mule deer antler cut in my shop.
