Made from mostly domestic hardwoods like Cherry, Maple, and Walnut from the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains and featuring an exotic wood called Purpleheart, and yes, that is the natural color of the wood. This cutting board features an “edge” grain design meaning the grain runs long ways from side to side giving it a unique pattern. A rounded edge makes it easy to lift and move around for functionality.  Great for heavy kitchen use, smoking meats, and adds a little flare to the kitchen decor and it very durable.
