Stove Board Hearth Extender

The HY-C Stove Board / Hearth Extender will protect the floor from heat and sparks in front of your fireplace or beneath, in front of, and around a wood burning stove. Constructed of embossed printed steel over 1/2" thick specially formulated non-combustible fiber board. Available in color black. This U.L. Listed Type 2 thermal floor protection can be used for wood stove installations where the stove will be placed on a combustible floor and alleviates the need to install tile under the stove. The HY-C Stove Board may also be used as wall protection to reduce the stoves clearance to combustible material. Note: When being used as wall protection, there must be a 1" air space between the wall and the stove board to adequately reduce the clearance for the stove. The air space must be open on all four sides allowing air movement on all sides of the stove board. Non-combustible spacers can be used to achieve the proper air space between the wall and the stove board. Features: R-Value = 1.
