Our soup bones are Osso Buco style bones. A real steal if you know how to cook them. They're great for many dishes cooked low and slow. Approximately 3 lbs of beef soup bones. Beef bones are surrounded by meat that becomes fork tender when cooked low and slow. Used for the classic Italian dish, Osso Buco and Beef Bourguignon. Also known as Beef Shanks, marrow bones have grown in popularity for making nutrient dense bone broth. Soup bones can be used to make high protein soups, stocks, broth and bone broth. The soups you can make range from beef stews, to pho and ramen. Stocks and broths can easily be made by tossing these bones into a large pot, adding water and letting them simmer for a 1-3 hours. Amazing for making older and ill dogs homemade bone broth with beef chunks and rice. Just add rice and water in a crock or stock pot.
