Any fish ordered that are not allowed in that state will not be shipped and we will charge a $50 fee. Arizona, Arkansas, California, Georgia, Mississippi, Nevada, Oklahoma, Texas and Utah prohibit private individuals from owning Potamotrygon species, and Colorado and Florida require a permit. This species has a very wide natural range, taking in parts of Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Uruguay and Argentina. It’s been recorded in the main Amazon basin and numerous smaller rivers including the Rio Orinoco, Rio Uruguay, Rio Paraná and Rio Paraguay. Image in this listing is for reference only.
