Description: Each piece of this rough chrysocolla is approximately 1" - 4" in size.  Rock/Mineral Info: Chrysocolla is a copper-rich clay mineral known for its vivid teal or blue-green coloration, which is strongly reminiscent of turquoise. It is a secondary mineral of copper deposits and indeed often grows alongside turquoise. If you want to tell the difference between them, turquoise often exhibits a more waxy luster compared to chrysocolla. Chrysocolla is also known to be more brittle than turquoise and frequently contains multiple fractures.
