An Integrated, Interdisciplinary, Thematic Unit Examining How To Live and Work in a Community. We are all part of a variety of communities. Our experiences in these communities are successful when we function well in groups. In this unit the student will learn to be a positive and productive member of the classroom, school, and local community. The student will work on learning core democratic values and character development while learning about communities.
