Venting Tool

Venting Tool Captain Rob and all of us here at Roggies Rigs are passionate about keeping fisheries healthy. When we catch a fish in water around 80ft deep or more, these fish tend to come to the surface and experience what scientists call BAROTRAUMA! If your fish needs to be released and you see bulging eyes, a bloated belly, protruding stomach, or even distended intestines you will need to use a venting tool! This helps to reduce the volume of air in the fish and allows the fish to swim back down to the bottom greatly increasing its chances of survival.  The State of Florida requires a venting tool or a descending device ready to use when fishing off shore. This tool meets the state venting tool requirement. This tool is hand made using a very durable polymer cast into a mold. The 1.5 inch metal needle is polished stainless steel with a width of 0.125 inches making this design the most dependable and durable available. The 3.75 inch handle has been ergonomically designed to fit in you
