 *LMR240 / LMR400  This special low-loss SMA male to N FEMALE extension cable is 240 grade (LMR-240* equivalent loss) low loss shielded for 6, 10, and 15 foot length options, and 400 grade for 25 and 50 foot options. 240 and 400 refer to shielding thickness. The thicker shielding means lower dB loss. 240 grade is .24 inches thick, while .400 is ~.40 inches thick. 400 has less loss. For length up to 15 foot, 240 is more than adequate, but for 25 or 50 foot length, the 400 is recommended. The cable can be used to put an extension between an SMA antenna connector on a LoRa device or Meshtastic radio and an N-Male antenna.
