Carved Onyx Chess Set This would make a great gift! This chess set and the pieces were all hand carved and were made from Onyx fossil.  The chess board is two-toned, with the colors banded brown and cream.  One set of the chess pieces are cream colored, and the other set are of the banded brown.  This chess set comes in a beautiful red velvet storage case as well.  The velvet box has an imprinted almost floral design on it.  Onyx fossil is a very unique mineral specimen.
